Register
SiteSet can support basic and advanced website registration systems.
Basic registration allows visitors to register and as long as they provide a valid email address, will send them a password, allowing access to the areas of the site designated as restricted. The password can be changed at any time or, if forgotten, a reminder email generated.
Siteset supports two levels of restriction, so areas of the site can be set accordingly to allow, for example, partial restricted access and full restricted access.
Advanced registration adds an authorisation loop into the registration process, whereby applicants for access have to be approved by the site administrator. Access can be approved for any number of days, allowing the possibility of trial or full subscriptions which automatically expire. Expiry warning emails are automatically generated at 14, 7 and 0 days.
The subscriber list is clearly colour-coded for subscriber status and can be sorted by various criteria such as username, real name, registration date or organisation.
Subscribers can be emailed directly from the subscriber list or a bulk mailing to all subscribers undertaken via the normal SiteSet email newsletter facility.
